I came across my little personalised canvas tote today, which was gifted to me by some special Air B&B hosts in East Village, New York. The print is the front of their home. Manhattan has always been a special place for me to visit, and without knowing a global pandemic was on its way in late December when I flew over to celebrate the arrival of 2020, little did I realise that it would be the last time in a very long time that we would be allowed to travel again. ESPECIALLY to New York, which was one of the hardest hit by COVID-19.
Staying in the city and getting the full experience of the hustle and bustle over the holidays, was in retrospect, very lucky.
Sheila was a fantastic host in an easy-to-commute-to-anywhere location. Outstanding communication, excellent value for money and very thoughtful with additional extras and touches provided (such as pictured personalised tote) in the apartment for our stay, we wanted for nothing! Sheila and Manny even graciously invited us to their own NYE party with their American friends and family!
